THE BLOG FOR THE ADVENTUROUS TRAVELER WHO LOVES A TOUCH OF LUXURY NOW AND THEN
Asia is a dream destination for a lot of people and a lot of times it’s the first region they travel to intercontinentally. And with good reason! If you’ve ever been to Asia you know you’ll get immersed in the different cultures, the smell of foreign spices and the stunning nature from the moment you arrive.
Asia comprises 48 countries so it can be difficult to figure out where to start your journey!
It would probably take years to truly discover it but a good and easy place to start is South East Asia! Explore the temples in Thailand or Cambodia, hike through the rice fields in Vietnam or enjoy a luxury vacation in Bali. All of these countries attract a lot of backpackers but they are also an excellent option if you like to travel a little more luxurious.
Then there is Japan, a country so diverse on its own that you’ll want to calculate at least 2 weeks to visit it!
Or feel like royalty in India, while you’re traveling through Rajasthan, also known as ‘The Land of Kings’.
And if you’re a more seasoned traveler why not visit China or Uzbekistan?
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the food! Your taste buds will be in absolute heaven and you’ll discover a ton of new flavours while traveling in Asia!
The weather in South Asia and South East Asia is pretty much always good. The only thing you have to look out for here is monsoon season which differs a bit from country to country. But besides that you’re good to go every month of the year!
If you want to travel really low budget then you actually might want to follow monsoon season. There will be less tourists around so chances are high you can get better rates.
East Asia and Central Asia are a little more difficult to plan. During the winter months it can get extremely cold and during Summer it is often too hot in the middle of the day, especially in Central Asia. Your safest bet here are the months of April to May and September to October.
