Asia is one of those continents that had always spoken to my imagination. It was also the place where I went for my very first intercontinental trip. A 3 week group trip around Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. This was long before the ages of Instagram or blogging but I fell in love instantly.

So when I got the opportunity to take a 3 month sabbatical I jumped at the chance to explore as much of Asia as possible. In 3 months I explored the most known parts of Myanmar, Thailand, China, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore and Bali. You probably think I’m crazy for this! And if I could do it again I would probably just focus on 3 countries and spent an entire month there. But I never had 3 months off before and I simply wanted to see as much as possible.

Another memory I’ll never forget is traveling around Rajasthan in India. The culture shock was one thing but I was absolutely amazed at how stunning this country is!
