I am so excited to introduce you to my Lightroom Presets! Over the past year I have been creating and refining these presets until I was completely happy with them. When I first started editing in Lightroom I always used to start from scratch and literally spend hours and hours to get the exact look that I wanted.
When I first heard about the term “presets” I got so intrigued by this easier and faster way of editing. It’s then that I decided that I wanted to create my own pack that I could apply to my own photos.
Below you can see an example of how my feed used to look before I started applying my own presets and then next to it is my current Instagram grid. All of the photos on the right are edited with this preset pack with just one click.
What is so special about my presets?
When I first started editing my photos in Lightroom I tried some of the cheaper Lightroom preset packages. You know which ones I am talking about: get 50 presets for 2$!
Well, I tried them but I didn’t like how they looked so I never ended up using them. None of these gave me the exact dreamy effect that i was looking for.
I will be the last one to claim that she is a specialist at Lightroom, but I do believe that practice makes perfect. I started watching tutorials on Youtube and Skillshare every time that I had a spare moment. All I know now I have learned over the past months by watching tutorials and practising for hours on end. There hasn’t been a day in the past year where I wasn’t trying to edit a photo in Lightroom. Sometimes I thought I created an amazing preset, only to discover later that I could only apply it to that one photo.
Well, that wasn’t what I wanted to create… I wanted to create presets that I could apply on ALL of my photos!
I wanted to create a dreamy look that was consistent through all of my edits even that sometimes the settings couldn’t be more different from each other. After months of trial and error I was finally able to narrow it down to 10 original Charlies Wanderings presets.
Over this period of time I learned so much about Lightroom and now my favourite part of creating content is the editing.
Every photo starts with a vision weeks before I am actually there. First comes the outfit, then the framing but the most important part for me will always be the editing.
In the past year I have travelled to so many countries, all with their own uniqueness and style when it comes to editing photos. Cause you can’t edit a photo that you take in Iceland the same way that you edit one from India can you?
Of course you can!
The two photos below were both edited using my preset “BRIGHT BLUES”.

These presets truly are a labor of love and will make your editing a lot easier. With the Mobile Presets (included in the Travel Collection) you can even edit your photos that you take with your phone on the go! Wether you want a 1-click edit, or a jump start to create your own unique style, these presets are designed with every situation in mind.
I hope they inspire you to fall in love with editing, like they did for me.
