When planning a trip to Paris one of the musts is a beautiful photo with the Eiffel Tower! In this post I will show you the best viewpoints of the Eiffel Tower!
All of these viewpoints will be pinned down on a map that you can find at the bottom of this post.
To make this post as inclusive as possible I also added some photos of my favourite content creators and their take on the best viewpoints of the Eiffel Tower!
The Best Viewpoints of the Eiffel Tower
1. Place du Trocadero
One of the most iconic and also most famous viewpoints of the Eiffel Tower. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunrise in Paris. Not just to see the sky turn from pink to orange but if you want to take any decent photo here, you’ll have to arrive no later than sunrise!
Do know that during the weekend there will be a lot of youngsters here still up from the night before. Place du Trocadero isn’t that idyllic and you’ll find a lot of glass sharves on the ground as well. Oh and the pee smell is free for you to enjoy :p.

2. The stairs at Trocadero
Another iconic spot at Trocadero is only 1 minute walking away. Always be careful when sitting on the edge here. Cause it’s still a long way down ๐

3. Carousel at Jardins du Trocadero
If you’re looking for a close up shot with a carousel then this is not the one. For that photo you have to go to Mont Martre! But, this carousel serves as the perfect backdrop against the Eiffel Tower.

4. Jardins du Trocadero
This spot is usually a lot less crowded than the platform!

5. Pont d’Iรฉna
Do know that if you want to take a similar photo, you have to get there at sunrise! Then streets will still be empty and you can take a photo like this when being careful!
6. Avenue de New York
This is one of those photos that you can get at any time of day without zero people in it! ๐

7. Port Debilly
For this spot you’ll have to walk down the stairs at Avenue de New York and walk a little along the Seine.

8. Champ De Mars
When visiting the Eiffel Tower don’t forget to walk around in the park surrounding it. You’ll find cute benches spread all around! If you’re visiting Paris in spring make sure to snap some photos with the cherry blossom trees!

9. Rue de l’Universitรฉ
One of the most famous streets to take a photo of the Eiffel Tower. Make sure to arrive on time or you’ll have to wait in line to take a photo.

10. Pont de Bir – Hakeim
One of my absolute favourite spots in Paris to watch the sunrise!
Tip: First go to Trocadero to catch the dreamy sky, then about 30 minutes later make sure to be at Pont Bir Hakeim to see the sun come peeping through the trees!

11. Avenue de Camoens
Located right next to Trocadero! Make sure to come here when the light is still soft and the sun is low!

12. Le Recrutement Cafรฉ
One of the lesser known street views but very close to Rue de l’Universitรฉ! This cute little spot has one of the best viewpoints of the Eiffel Tower!

13. Pont Alexandre III
Probably one of my favourite bridges in the world! The Pont Alexandre III is worth the visit even without the Eiffel Tower backdrop!
The best time to go in regards to the Eiffel Tower is sunset. Do know that there will be a lot of people there but it’s still pretty easy to get a nice photo!

14. Place de la Concorde
Another one of my favourite viewpoints in Paris! Even that the Eiffel Tower is rather far it’s a must visit! Make sure to stay to see the lights turn on!

OMG You will have the BEST time! Make sure when shooting at Trocadero with a tripod that you don’t do it in the weekend if you can! Cause there will be lot of people hanging around that are still kinda drunk from the night before

Great tip about arriving before sunrise to get a decent picture. That seems to be true nowadays at any landmark of place of interest frequented by hordes of tourists.
