The Most Instagrammable Places in Bangkok
Wat Arun
How to get there – Wat Arun is located on the other side of the river, the easiest way to get there is by taxi or use the ferri combined with a taxi. One thing you have to look out for in Bangkok is fixed prices with taxi drivers. NEVER EVER DO IT! Always ask them to turn the meter on! This can be a problem when you’re walking on a busy and touristic street, they will say no and keep on driving. There were many, many times were I started cursing after they left. But for instance they would charge THB250 for a ride that with the meter on only would cost THB50. That’s five times the normal price!
When to go – Wat Arun tends to get super busy early in the morning so make sure to be there a little before opening time which is 8.30 AM
Entrance fee – THB100
What to wear – Thailand is a Buddhist country so make sure to dress appropriately when visiting temples. Cover your shoulders, don’t have your boobs hanging out and wear a dress/skirt/pants that cover your knees.

Wat Pho – Temple of the reclining Buddha
How to get there – Wat Pho is the perfect temple to visit after Wat Arun. It’s right across the river so you can easily get there with the ferry for a mere THB3.
When to go – Go after visiting Wat Arun
Entrance fee – THB200

Wat Ratchanatdaram
How to get there – This temple is around 1.8km away from Wat Pho. It’s about 22 minutes walking or you can take a taxi here. Make sure to walk a little away from the main street if you want to take a taxi otherwise they won’t turn on the meter for you and suggest ridiculous prices.
When to go – Opening hours are between 8am and 5pm. Try to go around 10am to avoid the big bus tourists.
Entrance fee – None
