1. Trocadero
How to get there – The subway in Paris is one of the most logical ones there is so to get to this location you just take the subway until the stop “Trocadero”, walk up and you will find it right in front of you.
When to go – The Jardins du Trocadero is always super busy so I really advice you to make this one your first stop of the day! Get there before sunrise.

2. Pont Bir Hakeim
How to get there – This bridge is located on the right if your back is towards the Trocadero and can easily be reached on foot!
When to go – This place isn’t touristic at all but since you’re already at the Eiffel Tower in the morning it’s best to just go there next.

3. Place Vendôme
How to get there – Take the subway to Palais Royal and walk towards Rue de la Paix to find Place Vendôme on your right!
When to go – This place is famous for all it’s high end jewellery and tends to get very busy during the weekdays. If you can visit it on a Sunday you’ll find that there is way less traffic and since the shops are closed on Sunday there will be almost no people around!

4. Place de la Concorde
How to get there – If you are a little further away you can take the subway to Concorde, otherwise this square is very close to Place Vendôme!
When to go – This is my absolute favourite spot in entire Paris but it’s at it’s most magical after sunset and you can see the Eiffel Tower light up in the back.

5. Pont Alexandre III
How to get there – It’s a short walking distance from Place de la Concorde. This photo was taken on the opposite side of the bridge. It’s one of the only spots on the docks where your entire view isn’t actually blocked by boats 🙂
When to go – Luckily this place isn’t swarming with tourists, the bridge itself yes but the dock was rather calm besides the entire terrace that was enjoying a cocktail and watched me jump back and forward for a good 10 minutes.

6. Rue Crémieux
How to get there – We took a taxi but this colourful pastel street is really close to the Gare de Lyon!
When to go – I would go in the morning to avoid the light causing too many shadows in your photo. Also the owners tend to have their lunch outside in the street during sunny days!

7. Musée Du Louvre
How to get there – Located in the heart of Paris and right behind Place de la Concorde!
When to go – Either go early in the morning or after the Louvre closed! It’s way less crowded then and at least the pyramid won’t reflect all of the sunlight 🙂

8. Café Marly
How to get there – This café is overlooking the wonderful courtyard of the Musée Du Louvre
When to go – We went around 8pm and told the waiter we wanted to take photos so we would need a table in front. We only had to wait 30 minutes before one opened up and were free to just walk around in the mean time. So first make your reservation and if you have to wait you have time to take photos around the Louvre

9. Rue de l’Université
How to get there – Located right next to the Eiffel Tower and offers the best street side view!
When to go – Try to squeeze it in after you’re done shooting at Trocadero. We went in the afternoon and the street was literally swarming with tourists!

10. Hotel de la Comtesse
How to get there – The hotel is located right next to the Ecole Militaire behind the Eiffel Tower and offers one of the best views of the Parisian monument. Of you decide to stay here ask for a room on the 5th floor since these are the only rooms that come with a balcony.

11. Le Consulat
How to get there – One of the most famous café’s in Paris, Le Consulat isknown for hosting artists such as Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh and Toulouse- Lautrec. It is located right next to Place du Tertre in Montmartre.
When to go – I strongly advise you to go before anything opens cause we were there at 10am on a Sunday and the place was swarmed with tourists. Seriously, it took us 20 minutes at least to get this photo!

12. La Maison Rose
How to get there – When you’re standing in front of Le Consulat just walk down Rue des Saules and you will end up right in front of La Maison Rose!
When to go – Entire Montmartre is at it’s nicest in the early morning.

13. Lamarck – Caulaincourt
How to get there – This spot is located right above the subway entrance but is also walking distance from La Maison Rose
When to go – I would first take all of the photos you want in Montmartre and then walk this way, afterwards you can take the subway towards your next direction.

14. Odette Paris
How to get there – Odette Paris is located near the Notre Dame in Rue Galande.
When to go – It would be a shame to miss out on the delicious pastries that they sell here

15. Rue de la Colombe
How to get there – From Odette it’s a 15 minute walk in the direction of Le Marais.
When to go – This isn’t a touristic street since most of the tourists tend to stay on the main road that leads to the Notre Dam and Le Marais.

16. Palais Royal
How to get there – Just take the subway to Palais Royal and you will end up right in front of it! Don’t forget to snap some cute photos either with the subway entrance cause it’s absolutely gorgeous!
When to go – Early morning is key here. Before Instagram almost no one would come here but that has changed a lot over the past years.

How to get there – This spot is located at the docks across from the Eiffel Tower
When to go – Best time is either sunset or a little after sunrise

18. Carousel at Montmartre
How to get there – The fastest way is to take the metro and get out at Anvers.
When to go – Go around 7am to avoid the tour busses!

19. Place du Tertre
How to get there – Place du Tertre is only a short walk from the Sacre Coeur and the perfect spot to have a coffee!
When to go – Around 8am this café should be open and the area around is still pretty quiet.

How to get there – Simply walk down when you’re at Maison Rose!
When to go – Go around 8 am to avoid harsh light in the street

How to get there – Le Petit Palais is right across from Le Grand Palais and this door stays closed! Simply avoid midday because of the sun that would shine on the door.
When to go – After sunrise is a good time!

When to go – You’ll want to go early in the morning! This place gets buzzing with people pretty early!

How to get there – First let me say that for a photo like this you’ll need a zoom lens up to 300mm! Otherwise there is no point and the Arc de Triomphe will just be teeny tiny!
When to go – This photo was taken during sunset, otherwise you won’t have the effect of the car lights!
