1. Torre de Belém
How to get there – It totally depends on where you are staying in Lisbon but if you’re further than walking distance I advise you to use an Uber.
When to go – Opening time is 10am. Make sure to be there 30 minutes from before so you can snap a few photos on the bridge. There will be a little rope there stating it only opens at 10am which makes it actually perfect cause no one will be on the bridge (it’s the only entrance and exit to the tower so as soon as it opens it’s filled with people).

2. Miradouro de Santa Luzia
How to get there – It’s a bit of a climb up (but you already knew you would be doing a lot of that when you booked your trip to Lisbon!) but the sunrise view you get in return is unlike any other.
When to go – Get there a few minutes before sunrise and then don’t stop taking photos for 30 minutes cause it’s absolutely spectacular!

3. Arco da Rua Augusta
How to get there – It’s only 10 minutes walking from the Miradouro Santa Luzia and located near the water.
When to go – This place tends to get overrun by tourists during the day so it’s actually perfect to visit it right after sunrise.

5. Bairro Alto
How to get there – One of the most picturesque places in Lisbon. From streets lined with graffiti to the most gorgeous tile houses, you’ll find all of this here.
When to go – The streets are pretty narrow so try to go either in the morning or towards the evening to avoid disturbing shadows on all of the buildings.

6. Pink Street
How to get there – The easiest way to get there is on foot.
When to go – It’s one of the most photographed places in Lisbon so go as early as possible!
Tip – The blue building in the background is a hotel: The LX Boutique Hotel. If you stay here the Pink Street is literally in your backyard!

7. Casa do Alentejo
How to get there – Located in the center the easiest way to get there is on foot.
When to go – I went in the middle of the day and it’s pretty hidden so you don’t need to fear the big crowds here.

8. Peña Palace, Sintra
How to get there – Walk towards Rossio station, from here you can take a train that will take you to Sintra (the ride takes about 50 minutes). Once you’re there you can take the shuttle bus (434) up that will drop you off right in front of the gates. To waste as little time as possible I advise you to book all of your tickets from before.
When to go – The Palace opens at 10am so make sure you leave Lisbon no later than 8am!

9. Quinta da Regaleira
How to get there – After visiting the Peña Palace, the same bus will drop you off in São Martinho. From here it takes about 15 minutes to walk towards Quinta da Regaleira.
When to go – You have to choose which one of the palaces you want to visit first. This one is a little less busier than Peña Palace, except for the step well.
